Unpacking Manhattan

Last winter, one of my close friends from school invited me to New York during the first weekend of our winter break, and I had the best time living in the rush of Manhattan during the holidays. While I experienced some firsts such as visiting the Top of the Rockefeller Center and the Guggenheim Museum, along with new-to-me restaurants such as the Boathouse restaurant in Central Park, JP Melon, Orsay, and Nespresso, I also simply enjoyed walking along Park and Madison avenue taking in New York City's attitude.

One of my favorite memories from the trip was seeing Anna Winter's Costume Exhibits, Masterworks: Unpacking Fashion. It was an exhibit of mostly women's wear featuring strong collections that truly explore the concept of fashion in art's most fabulous form. Below are pictures of my favorite pieces from the exhibit. Sorry for the poor iPhone camera quality!
