Fall months bring beautiful days that do require a chic coat. Obviously having quality coats in your closet is key, but so is having an assortment of basic sweaters and fitted pants that match, are comfortable, and can be worn for multiple seasons. For instance, this white sweater above from Free People is great with every pant and a wide variety of skirts. I particularly like the pants above since they have a small ankle zipper and army styled detailing on the thigh. But, variations of this simple sweater and pant look can be found at Urban Outfitters, Theory, Hollister, as well as Max Studio and Nordstrom. I finished off the easy look with very useful Steve Madden suede Gills, however riding boots or trendy booties from brands such as Frye, Vince, Sam Edelman, and many more (all of which be found at Nordstrom) pull off the look as well.
