DIY

When I was younger, and still to this day, my mom doesn't let me buy ripped jeans. I, however, love the casual style of distressed denim, so I decided to cut my own holes. I started by marking where exactly I should cut, and then took my fabric scissors and cut. Along with the knee area, I cut the front of the ankles, a high-low style. Finally, I had some left over fabric paint so I decided to simply paint red stars along the sides. While I was fairly cautious at the beginning, I ended up painting the stars in locations and different sizing wherever I thought fit. I loved this project, and I have a cropped jean jacket which is next up!
